The project involves the construction of submarine cable landings using MTBMs as part of the France-Spain Electricity Interconnection in the Bay of Biscay.
Project description
BESSAC used the microtunneling technique, with an internal diameter of 2,300 mm, to land submarine electrical cables at the following three sites:
- Le Porge: offshore drive 1,290 m long,
- Capbreton: offshore drive 1,200 m long,
- Seignosse: drive 1 offshore 1,355 m long and drive 2 onshore 320 m long.
