This anniversary celebration provided the opportunity to look back on 50 years of achievements, remember the past and project into the future showcasing BESSAC and its remarkable evolution.

Inaugurating the event, Dominique Mazzieri and Bernard Theron set the scene: 50 years of tunnels and microtunnels, expanding into the international arena beginning in 1995, technical expertise of BESSAC, commitment to innovation, significant increase in revenue over the past three years, and all this achieved in a company that maintains the same family spirit it had when it began.

With a nod to the “big bosses” present, there was also the takeover by Soletanche, which then belonged to VINCI and raised its own share of questions in the beginning, but then finally, the flexibility of SME’s demonstrated how, with the support of a large group, a small company could make a large impact.

After the projection of our widely applauded 50-year retrospective film, speeches became tinged with emotion. The images in the film attest to the highlights of our achievements in more than 35 countries. It’s been an incredible journey already, and has aroused the admiration of many.

Enlarged photos were displayed around the reception hall, allowing our guests to revisit some of our most glorious achievements in chronological order.

A highlight of the event was the film about the Inelfe project, which revealed our expertise in the construction of underwater structures.

This anniversary celebration also allowed us an opportunity to have meaningful exchange with our clients and engineering consultants in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere while sharing a festive meal together.
