Our environmental <\/span>principles<\/h2><\/div>

As an innovator in underground construction, BESSAC has made building <\/span>with a conscience front<\/b> and centre in conception and execution of all projects.<\/span><\/p>\n

While preserving the environment has always been important, BESSAC\u2019s activities have reached the point where each and every project must demonstrate a measurable impact<\/b> in reducing its carbon footprint and optimizing resources <\/b>thanks to its efforts to build a circular economy.<\/p>\n

BESSAC has an environmental responsibility for all its projects, both locally in France and in its international projects. This translates into a proactive approach, <\/b>guided by objectives that are both ambitious, but also absolutely necessary.<\/p>\n<\/div>

This environmental strategy highlights:<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>

– Energy efficiency<\/b> and reducing carbon footprint in all activities (Scope 1, 2 & 3).<\/p>\n

– Responsible management of excavated material,<\/b> water resources and pollution.<\/p>\n

– Integration of climate issues <\/b>starting from machine design and carried through to project implementation.<\/p>\n

– Ongoing dialogue with all stakeholders,<\/b> to achieve shared environmental goals.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

For BESSAC, environment is at the heart of everything we do: from conception through to execution, technical innovation and competence of our team, we are determined that the infrastructure of tomorrow must meet the technical and ecological requirements of today.<\/p>\n

For BESSAC, building underground means contributing to a future that\u2019s more resilient, more conscientious and fully respectful of nature.<\/b><\/p>\n

Thanks to an industrial model based largely on reuse of our TBMs and MicroTBMs, with each being reconditioned according to the needs of future projects, BESSAC offers a wide range of diameters without resorting to new equipment. The \u201cCroult\u201d microtunnel: DN1600<\/b><\/p>\n

With a 920m length, constructed using an ultra-low-carbon EXEGY concrete by BESSAC (117kg CO2 eq\/m3) for SIAH in the Paris Region: a concrete that had 3-4 times fewer emissions than regular concrete.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>
